Had a couple of hours to spare so went to the Palm Farm Track and took the ‘parallel track’ – not a good idea if we get a drop of rain – quite squishy! Birds seen:-
400+ Glossy Ibis, 100+ Lapwing, 30+ Golden Plover, 10 Common Snipe, 50+ Dunlin, 20 Ruff, 1 Marsh Sandpiper, Common Redshank, 1 Spotted Redshank, 4 Grey Plover, Little Stint, 6 Wood Sandpiper, 4 Black-winged Stilt, 2 Carrion Crow, 1 Merlin (female), Skylark – very numerous.
