Pego Marsh news from Peter Alden

I did a quick drive around Pego Marsh on 28th April, as I was in the area, and every field was bone dry. Even some of the smaller ditches were dry. The only water was in the main channels and the river. The usual “speciality” birds such as the Marsh Harriers and Fan Tailed Warblers were around but nothing else that was special.
I´ll try and keep an eye on the situation and let you know when the fields get flooded.
