Having read my piece about Brian, Malcolm has written this poem.
81: MISSING YOU
It’s twelve years since he ‘bought the farm’
I miss his ready wit and charm.
Brian was no simple man
Dedicated Southampton fan,
He came with me on many a jaunt
The Pyrenees his favourite haunt
House-proud and a decent cook
Brian enjoyed a gripping book
But then he’d pass it on to me
Generous to a fault was he
Yes, we miss you, Brian, old mate
Saints are still up there, to date!
