8th May – This evening reached 59 with a Purple Heron.

9th May – Today below my balcony near the Segura River a field was flooded and it produced several Slender Billed Gulls my 60th species during lockdown.  Also feeding in the field were 80+ Med Gulls, Black Headed and Audouin’s Gulls along with 20+ Glossy Ibis and at least 2 Gull Billed Terns, unfortunately some of the field was obscured by trees preventing me from achieving an exact count. The field was just too distant to get any decent pics.
