Today in the campo behind Park Recorral I saw 10+ Common Redstart, Whitethroat, Spotted Flycatchers and Blue Rock Thrush. During the past week in the park I’ve seen Night and Squacco Herons, 2 Whitethroats, large numbers of Spotted Flycatchers and a Pied Flycatcher, also a Little Bittern on three different days. For the past three days we have had scores of Bee-eaters around my villa feeding and sitting on the wires along with several Alpine Swifts flying over.
