San Felipe Reserve – Malcolm Palmer

Plenty of water now in all lagoons, not many birds! A fair few Bluethroat close to the car park, where a machine has made a sort of scrape, also a Greenshank, several Ringed Plover and a Dunlin there. Fair numbers of Teal. Nothing of note on the central lagoon, but on the far lagoon, I counted some 300 Lapwings, which were soon disturbed by a very high and very large raptor, which was probably a Spotted Eagle. A couple of Booted Eagles and three Marsh Harriers, including a nice male, and that was it.
