This afternoon on the Salinas at Santa Pola there were 40+ Spoonbills. On the Vistabella Road by the 5k marker, in a semi flooded field, there were large numbers of waders including Lapwings, Grey Plovers Dunlin, Little Stint etc. A couple of Spanish birders found the American Golden Plover on the  same field and  showed it to me.  While watching the Plover a flock of 86 Cranes flew over followed, 10 minutes later, from a different direction there were 2 groups of  98 and 11 Cranes.
