Driving along the N332 we saw a Great White Egret and Little Egret together on the Salinas. Not having been there for a while so decided to go to the pallet road, it didn’t disappoint, lovely view of a Green Woodpecker. On to Monastery road there were 2 Little Owl but not a lot more. Then on to the PFT where we saw a few Marsh Harriers, a lot of LBJ’s, a good view of a Kestrel and a Kingfisher. We also bumped into David Lewis and stopped for a chat. On the way back in a flooded field we saw 11 Grey Heron and several Cattle Egret. Not a bad couple of hours.
