Sierra Cazorla – Darren Wilson

First time for me in this stunning area. Spain’s largest National Park and eight times larger than Dartmoor. Lots of wonderful wildlife experiences including my first Lammergeier away from the Pyrenees, over fifty Griffon Vultures overhead, close encounters with Wild Boar and exquisite birds which seem common here such as Golden Oriole, Crested Tit, Scops Owl and Booted Eagle. As if not enough the cherry on an already rich and fruity cake were three Eleonora’s Falcon hunting over the campsite last night.
