Sightings/Spring Migrants – Pego Marsh – Nigel Bentley

During a two-hour morning visit to Pego Marsh, two immature Black Stork were seen again (they have been there for at least three weeks). Also notable were a Short-toed Eagle (SM) hovering nicely, a Squacco Heron, two Purple Heron, a Common Kingfisher, Purple Swamphen, many Glossy Ibis, Little Ringed Plover, two female Yellow Wagtail and several Audouin’s Gull enjoying the local crayfish.
