The Costa Blanca area, for the purposes of the bird club, extend from Pego Marshes, near Oliva in the North to Cabo de Palos, which is a headland to the east of Cartagena in the South. The Northern Costa Blanca covers sites which are North of Alicante and Southern Costa Blanca includes sites South of Alicante. There are also a few inland sites, such as, Alcoy (for Griffon Vultures) and Petrola, near Almansa (for Great Bustards).
Maps are currently (February 2015) being added to the site guides and this will be done gradually over a period of time.
