San Felipe – Edward Humphreys

Visited this morning. Near visitor centre were 2 Kentish Plover and 2 Little Ringed Plover plus 2 Swallows overhead. A superb male Bluethroat on approach to first hide posed off and on for 30 minutes. 3 Marbled Duck from that hide. At second hide on main lagoon a Wood Sandpiper and 3 Snipe. The usual residents were about and a male Blackcap posed for pictures near the exit. We visited the hide near the south gate where Black necked and Great Crested Grebe were beginning to pair up and display.
