During a quick visit to the Clot today we found a few of the usual suspects in the form of Robin, Greenfinch, Goldfinch, Southern Grey Shrike, White headed Duck, Shoveler, Teal, Mallard, Coot, Moorhen, Little Grebe, Little Egret and Chiffchaff. A group of about 10 Stone Curlew was good to see. We bumped into Barry on the way back and it was great to catch up with him again. He alerted us to a Bluethroat calling but we didn’t see the bird. Tomorrow we have to go back to England for a couple of weeks but we can’t wait to get back here and do some ‘proper birding’!
