At midday today I was lucky enough to have brilliant views of an Eleanora’s Falcon (light phase) cruising up and down the valley next to Granadella, near Javea.

Today from the 2nd hide along the Vista Bella Road I had good views of the Lesser Flamingo.

At the Clot early morning, 2 Turtle Dove, Woodchat Shrike, Little Owl, Nightingale. Then at the Salinas, Squacco Heron, lots of Curlew Sandpipers, RedShank, Yellow Wagtail. Then on to monastery, 2 Great Spotted Cuckoo, Bee-eaters, 2 Woodchat Shrike and 2 Rollers.
Day out with a Dutch bird group, visiting Bonete, Petrola Steppes and Yecla. Long day, big list. These are some of the best photos of the day.

Along the Segura at Benejurzar there were – 3 Cuckoo, 6+ Golden Oriole, 1 Garden Warbler. Good numbers of Turtle Doves, Nightingales and Great Reed Warblers. Woodchat Shrikes and large numbers of Bee Eaters.
