Crevillente – Gleb Berloff

After arrival, I was stunned to see a distant Golden Eagle over the canyon. It slowly drifted out of view. I did not know that they occurred here!

Chough were very noisy and showy overhead, and an early-arriving Woodchat Shrike sat still, for once. A Bonelli’s Eagle was flying to and from her nest, preening and feeding at the entrance. Some frogs were croaking incredibly loudly nearby.
