El Hondo fields – Paul and Greta

By the time we reached pallet road we had already seen five Little Owls, in total we saw eight. Several flocks of Glossy Ibis, Hoopoe, Kestrel, Cattle Egret, Red Legged Partridge, Roller, Bee-eater, Grey Heron, two Purple Heron, one of which had a lovely size Carp in it’s beak. I was hoping to take a photo but two vehicles came just at that moment and it disappeared into the undergrowth. A Kestrel in the box by the canal. Sandpiper, Avocet, Tern in abundance. We tried to take a look at El Pinet but they still have it cordoned off.
