This morning we paid a short visit to El Pinet where we managed to catch up with a few of the birds we had not seen during Tuesday’s field trip, namely Avocet, 100+ Black tailed Godwit, and Gannet. After lunch we had a walk over to the lighthouse cliffs where we also saw a few new birds for this week, including Hoopoe, Serin and Meadow Pipit. We may not get much time for birding in the next few weeks so it was nice to enjoy a last few trips out this week before the end of the year.
