Lots of birding recently on my own and with fellow birder, Jeannet. Moustached Warbler at El Hondo North Gate yesterday. Today, we headed to the Guadalentin Valley. Black-bellied Sandgrouse, Hen Harrier, Lesser short-toed Lark, Merlin, Spanish Sparrow, Chough, Dartford Warbler, but not one decent picture. Ferruginous Duck at Lo Monte and by the Guadalentin Valley. Bird count was 59.
There were dozens of Azure-winged Magpies by the hospital last week. Showing there between 9 and 10am. Jeannet estimated about 50.
