This morning I headed off to the old monastery in the gloom. But I was lucky. Firstly I came across 2 Great-Spotted Cuckoos. Then I found another one on my way back. Other recent sightings of a Caspian Tern at Guardamar and a Bonelli’s Eagle at Crevillente.
The Montagu’s Harriers came back to Torrevieja on Monday 18th. Lots there tonight. They come into roost between 5 and 7pm best views from the tower at Los Montesinos.
