Pego Marsh – Peter Alden

posted in: Birders Reports | 0

Called in at Pego Marsh today, and went down the main track from Km 5 to the river. All the fields are still dry, and look about ready for the rice planting, hence there were few birds around – I saw one wader, a Green Sandpiper, and not a single raptor. The only interesting sighting were several Alpine Swifts amongst the hirundines over the river.”
