Santa Pola Salinas – Gleb Berloff

A quick trip to the Santa Pola Salinas today led to interesting results. The highlight was a group of Spoonbill, as well as three distant Ospreys. On the way back, however, I discovered what appears to be a young Caspian Tern just off the road. The thing was huge, it was right next to a group of Sandwich Terns, and dwarfed them in size. Some really beautiful Audouin’s Gulls as well
