100 White Headed Ducks  6 Tufted Ducks, large numbers of Pochard and a male Ring-necked Duck (North American Duck) a first for me in Spain.

A short drive around today found things fairly quiet but we did see a flock of around 40 Glossy Ibis flying over the palm farm track.

A very unusual sighting for this date – a juvenile Purple Heron! Not much else, just a Bluethroat, a Booted Eagle (only one!) and 6 Green Sandpipers.

Had a quick check at the Raptor/Eagle Owl watch point, in preparation for next weeks trip and, between 5pm and 5.45pm, I saw the following – 2 Golden Eagles, 1 Buzzard, 1 Goshawk and several species of warblers etc.
