Just been to El Hondo first thing this morning. Plenty of the usual suspects including good views of all 8 species of heron, hundreds of Glossy Ibis, a handful of Marbled Duck, 2 Red-knobbed Coot, 2 Kingfisher, 8 Avocet, 2 Gull-billed Tern, 6 Whiskered Tern, approximately 200 Flamingo and a solitary Iberian Grey Shrike. Other notable additions were a single Black-tailed Godwit, a Green Sandpiper and a few Plain Tiger Butterflies.
