La Marina – Darren Wilson

Just walked the dog along La Marina beach. Definitely more Morecambe Bay than the Med today. I did however see 2 Common Tern, 2 Little Tern, distant Gannets, numerous Audouin’s and Med Gulls plus a solitary Sanderling.

I did a 30 min walk along the Rio Segura this morning.  It produced 3/4 Nightingales singing, a Cuckoo, 7 Glossy Ibis, 3 Booted Eagles, Iberian Green Woodpecker and several Cetti’s Warblers.
