Along the Segura this morning the Nightingales continue to sing, along with Reed Warblers. 30+ Glossy Ibis enjoying the flooded river. I also had 2 Great Spotted Cuckoo’s, my first on my local patch, plus good numbers of Turtle Doves.
The rain must have brought the birds out, more around today. Roller, Bee-eater, Red-legged, Partridge, Little Owl, Little and Cattle Egret, Red-rumped Swallows collecting mud, Cuckoo, Swifts everywhere, Night Heron, and another which I think maybe a juvenile, Sardinian Warbler. … Continued
