A walk from my apartment today around the local ‘campo’ produced my first Golden Oriole of the year, a Woodchat Shrike, a Bee-eater, 2 Common Tern and at least 6 Turtle Dove.

We saw two Golden Orioles and lots of Pied Flycatchers at the Segura river today and sackfulls of Montagu’s Harriers, including one female from the tower at Los Montesinos.
